<dc:description>This thesis investigates the pivotal role of prepositions in the English language, emphasizing their significance in conveying spatial and temporal relationships. Focusing on the challenges faced by EFL learners, the research adopts a Cognitive Linguistics framework and utilizes a 3D video game demo to enhance understanding, particularly of the prepositions "in" and "on". The study assesses the efficacy of this innovative approach by comparing it with traditional classroom methods. Results reveal that students exposed to the 3D video game exhibit improved comprehension and usage of prepositions, outperforming those in control groups. Additionally, the game enhances academic satisfaction and engagement. The findings underscore the value of tailored instructional strategies and advocate for the integration of educational 3D video games to improve language learning, highlighting the potential of technology-based approaches in language education. This research contributes to refining instructional methodologies, acknowledging the continued relevance of traditional methods alongside emerging technologies.</dc:description>

<mods:abstract>This thesis investigates the pivotal role of prepositions in the English language, emphasizing their significance in conveying spatial and temporal relationships. This research contributes to refining instructional methodologies, acknowledging the continued relevance of traditional methods alongside emerging technologies.</mods:abstract>
