Description:: [ES] En el presente trabajo académico se plantean dos objetivos principales. En primer lugar, a partir de una hipótesis planteada en la introducción, empezar una investigación en torno al funcionamiento de la red social Instagram y su visión como espacio donde el sufrimiento y el dolor se convierten en la ilusión, haciendo que la plataforma refleje la búsqueda de felicidad en la sociedad actual. Comenzamos con las observaciones personales que intentamos apoyar con argumentos más sólidos de autores como Zygmunt Bauman, Philippe Ariès, Pascal Bruckner y Omar Rincón entre otros. En segundo lugar, el estudio de Instagram nos acerca a otro objetivo, donde se analiza la instalación escultórica #lovesurface, expuesta en la exposición colectiva PAM!PAM! 2018, cuyos significados se desarrollan alrededor de la plataforma. Con la finalidad de cumplir este objetivo, se realiza el planteamiento conceptual de la obra apoyándonos en artistas contemporáneos que emplean en sus trabajos recursos retóricos similares. Finalmente, acabamos con las conclusiones donde resumimos el proceso de trabajo y los resultados obtenidos.; [EN] In the present academic work, two main objectives are proposed. In the first place, from a hypothesis raised in the introduction, to start an investigation around the operation of the social network Instagram and its vision as a space where suffering and pain become the illusion, making the platform reflect the search for happiness in today¿s society. We begin with personal observations that we try to support with more solid arguments from authors such as Zygmunt Bauman, Philippe Ariès, Pascal Bruckner and Omar Rincón among others. Secondly, the Instagram study brings us closer to another objective, where we analyse the sculptural installation #lovesurface, exhibited in the collective exhibition PAM! PAM! 2018, whose meanings are developed around the platform. In order to fulfill this objective, we make the conceptual approach of the work based on contemporary artists who use similar rhetorical resources in their works.
