        <mods:abstract>La traducción y comentario que Juan García de Castrojeriz realizó del De regimine principum ha sido entendida como un mero ejercicio de amplificatio, valoración simplista que no hace justicia a su importancia en el panorama del siglo XIV castellano. En el presente artículo hacemos una cata en los mecanismos de inclusión de las autoridades y exempla, en el funcionamiento de la tradición sapiencial inserta en el tratado y su contribución en la tarea de adoctrinamiento.</mods:abstract>

En el presente artículo hacemos una cata en los mecanismos de inclusión de las autoridades y exempla, en el funcionamiento de la tradición sapiencial inserta en el tratado y su contribución en la tarea de adoctrinamiento.</dcterms:abstract>
14. <dcterms:abstract>Juan García de Castrojeriz's translation and commentary to De Regimin e Principum has been considered a mere exercise of amplificatio, a simplistic judgment which does not do justice to its importance in fourteenth-century Castile. This article analyzes the mechanisms by which the authorities and exempla are included in the text, as well as the wisdom literature in the treatise and how it contributes to its doctrinal purposes.</dcterms:abstract>
