<dc:description>The aim of the paper is to show different groups of people who are excluded from the society, also by the libraries and their regulations, due to various reasons. For example, some libraries exclude homeless or poor people who cannot pay for lost books, etc. At the same time it is indicated that the libraries can help people with the process of social inclusion, i.e. by providing information for the unemployed people, conducting distance learning, organizing training in the use of information technology, running fast service of the kind “question – answer”, digitalizing the library resources, etc.</dc:description>
