If you want to search for a phrase, put quotation marks around it ("Conde de Benavente").
You can insert one or more words in each field. Link words together with (AND).
Likewise, when you enter terms in different fields, the operator for linking the terms is AND. The wildcards (*) and (?) search for terms that share the same root or words you are not sure how to spell. For example, "ilustr*" will bring up the words illustrator, illustrations, illustrated, illustrative, etc., and "primiti?a" will bring up the terms primitiae and primitias. These symbols cannot be used at the beginning of a term search.
